A conglomerate of influences spanning from art- to progressive rock to electronica leads to a sparkling mix of sounds. Powerful melodies, calm breaths, held-back emotions, and hidden truths are packed into songs fit for bedrooms, radios and stadiums.

The world is changing and their spirit leads back to the roots of free art. They don't follow a pre-made formula and clearly focus on their own style instead of algorithms and mainstream.

Be a JESTER!

Born from the vision of David Christopher, Jester brings together a group of musicians who share a passion for expressive music. Their sound has evolved over the last few years. It is a mixture of rebellion, nostalgia and futuristic elements, which is reflected in their music videos and lyrics. The band has been following its path consistently since 2020. The first singles were recorded in 2021 and released with elaborately staged music videos.

The departure of their guitarist allowed the band to make their sound even more unique - instead of a replacement, Raph Aardoom expanded his role as bassist, creating his trademark sounds with the help of a plethora of effects.

In 2022, Rolf Stauffacher was brought in as producer for seven songs, which were released as singles 2023. In 2024, the first major shows and festivals were played. At the same time, the band refined their sound in Daniel Milert's studio. These songs are still waiting to be released.

In a world where the artificial increasingly determines everyday life, we are the ones who cratively arouse emotions and put the human in the foreground.

With multi-layered arrangements, catchy melodies and infectious rhythms, we appeal to music lovers who are looking for something new without wanting to forget their roots.

We are unpredictable, rebellious, critical and warm at the same time. We create a world in which everyone can find themselves. Because life is also unpredictable. That is why we see in every person a little potential jester who faces life every day and dances in their own way. This fascinates us and awakens in us the curious child who wants to dare to do something exciting or go beyond his or her own limits.

The Real Jester! Carrying jesters licence, he honed his voice in swing, rock, blues and classical music. Born into a musical family, he unites people around the band who share his vision.

Raph Aardoom Bass/Guitars

Thanks to his love of experimenting with effects on the bass, the experienced alternative and indie rock bassist (e.g. Manolo Panic), he also covers the guitars.

Domi Dettling Drums

Our clockwork and sledgehammer. With his preference for heavier and complex rhythms, he gives our music precision and power.

Robi Krohne Keys

Influenced by 80s pop-rock as well as classical music, he unobtrusively lends our music an elegance that is second to none.
